FAQs

Why should I choose an ebike from Invicta Ebikes instead of the other local companies?

Invicta Ebikes specializes in ebikes capable of delivering high power for a low cost. The high performance ebike market is changing and evolving rapidly. Invicta Ebikes offers higher performance and uses better quality parts then any other local company. You can order high powered ebikes online from across the world, but they are currently very expensive and when something breaks and needs repair you can be hung out to dry. All of our bikes are built to last thousands of kilometers, and we build them specifically to be easy to repair and modify in your home.

How powerful of an ebike should I buy?

This depends on what kind of top speed and torque you are wanting. Roughly 70% of our customers that purchase a 1000w conversion end up coming back to us to have another even more powerful bike built. Based on this info, around 2000w seems to be a good amount of power for the average person.

If you are wanting hard acceleration or a top speed above 50km/h you should go with 3000w+.

Can I legally ride my ebike on the road if it’s over 500w ?

According to Canadian laws, ebikes are not road legal if they have a motor larger than 500w. Additionally, by Canadian laws, you cannot exceed 32km/h on the road without pedaling.

We build all of our bikes with no labels or descriptions on the exterior. We offer on-road and off-road modes, which allows you to de-restrict your bike in seconds via the programmable LCD screen.

Any of our builds that are over 500w of power are not street legal and customers must ride at their own risk.

What is the best way to maintain an ebike?

All our our ebikes are water resistant and require no special maintenance, however it is important to treat your battery properly.

Never leave any lithium-ion battery dead or fully charged for long periods of time. Charge them to around 80% and leave them in a cool dry area. Do not leave your ebike battery outside if the temperature drops below 0 degrees Celsius.

What music should I listen to when I ride my Invicta Ebikes ebike?

Metallica 100%.

Also, Buckethead.
